It's official! I just put my entry form for the 2008 SCY championships in the mail! I'm swimming the same events as two years ago and I'm super excited. I don't think I'll do as well this year, but hey, it will be fun.
Plus, putting the entry form in the mail means that I'm a lock-on for taper, which I am really looking forward to. Mimi's been having me swim, oh, everything IM and my shoulders, oof, they hurt.
Today at practice I was swimming some 200 IMs and I was remembering really clearly what it feels like to swim it in a meet. I guess that's a good thing, so maybe if I can kick my own butt enough to remember it for the 400 IM it will portend good things.
Hooray for competition - this is what I live for, right?
